Bellingen Gelato

Owned by Danny and Daisy Sebes, known for its unique seasonal flavours, nostalgic 50’s memorabilia, and authentically brewed chai, Bellingen Gelato is a must-see destination in this sleepy little town.

Established in 2006 by the original owners of Sydney’s iconic Badde Manors Cafe, Bellingen Gelato boasts a range of seasonal fruit sorbets – from stewed plum with cinnamon and cloves to watermelon and mint, and fresh nectarine. It also provides creamy gelato classics like burnt caramel, roast macadamia and honey, and caramelised fig and marsala. Absolutely worth a visit to the top end of town!

Along with Hearthfire Bakery and 5 Church Street, in March 2023 this much-loved coffee house became 100% REUSE for takeaway. More than two years on, customers after a caffeine hit dine in, bring their keep cup or grab themselves a mug-to-go.

“It just seemed completely logical,” said Daisy. “We all had a bit of a ‘Why didn’t we do this sooner?’ moment.”
